"This was the Jan 8th event when we invited all the children sponsored together with their guardians to visit the prison and spend the day with the parent in prison. It was a big event, it is a yearly event. You believe it that this time we catered for 800 persons, morning breakfast, lunch etc. including ice cream. Each child received a parcel of books and stationary sufficient for the year, also the travel allowance for they came from Jaffna in the north to Matara in the south. You can see it all in the photos."
